Swiftwater Training
What a week. Had a week of learning and refreshing skills with Raven Rescue in the Squamish area. It was a great experience meeting up with different user groups. Working and playing in the river.
Met some great people from Squamish and across the province. I was able to Audit my first course as well as help out as safety on the first Course and then take my SRT A. We had some good times doing rope work and night searches. Night makes life on the river very interesting, we learned some great tips and got to get a feel for what it is like working in the dark. Lots of scenarios on a couple of rapids.
Over all fantastic and well run. Look forward to other courses in the future. Here is a sampling of some images from the six days.
