Was able to make it off Vancouver Island early this year to hit the Festival on the East Fork of the Lewis and the VKC festival on the Chilliwack river. This year after an abysmal snow pack along the west coast flows weren’t high at either location. However still managed to paddle a fair amount at both events. The race went well in my Jackson Karma at the East Fork of the Lewis. Check the results here.
On the drive back up myself and Rob Cartwright paddled the classic section of the Skykomish river. At the start of May it was great to catch up with a few folks and paddle the Classic Chilliwack river.

Nice whitewater runs in the Classic Chilliwack river, absolutely fun and exciting.
