After an amazing trip down the mountain river in the Northwest Territories. I had the idea to take photos of people on the trip. The light, before dinner, was wonderful and with a 50mm 1.4 lens, which I love, it was going to be fun to capture images. With natural light and the back drop the the Deh Cho – the Dene name for the Mackenzie river. You can see blow the participants of this great trip run by Canadian River Expeditions. We had spent the last 12 days coving 300km of river through the Mackenzie Mountains out to the Deh Cho ( Big River ).
It was a great time travelling the river with all of these folks. Looking forward to sharing more photos from the river soon. Between teaching, adventures and healthcare work it has been taking a little bit of time to work through the images.
