Fall time in Strathcona Park

Island Fall

After six days in Squamish and an awesome visit to Whistler. It was back to the Island, a quick turn around in the Comox Valley and it was up to Strathcona Park And the Lodge to teach WW Kayaking with Laurel Archer to 10 COLT students.

The colours were beautiful and the weather was grand. We ran a couple of days on the middle section of the Gold river which is fantastic for teaching. Then as the level dropped down we headed for a different style of river and more water on the mighty Campbell river.

There were a few swims, laughs, smiles, a few fish seen and good times had by all. You could almost say it was Classic. Which it was.

Here are a few pictures.
