It was a great day, as it always is, when the Puntledge River gets enough water to go kayaking. We were able to hit it up at a fantastic level of around 95-110cms. The wave/hole works from 65cms and above – however it does get a bit finicky above 160cms. There was quite a few paddlers out on the river, some had come all the way from Vancouver to go for a paddle. It was nice to be out, was just starting to find the sweet spot for loops and hoping that I can do the same with the Jackson Rockstar when the water comes in again.
