Adventures on the NF Nooksack

Spending a three days at a SRT course in the Fraser valley it was amazing how much paddling you can get in. After a evening run on the Chilliwack Canyon run, the next evening was off to the states for my first run in the State of Washington. The water level on the NF Nooksack was 650ish CFS(cubic feet per sec) . Found the level to be fun, lots of eddies to catch behind rocks.

We arrived to meet up with a few others, meet up with a couple of locals and headed off down the river. We hit a bit of sun, some hail, a mix of rain and low snow lines. Overall it was a great paddle on a very fun section of whitewater which was followed by beers, fish tacos(highly recommend) and pie at Grahams(excellent establishment).

Look forward to coming back.

Thanks to all for a great evening.
